The Sandia Heights Homeowners Association Board of Directors recently elected officers and planned upcoming projects, including finishing the park landscaping, adding picnic tables, continuing guard patrol monitoring, contracting snow removal services, supplying area maps to new members, and working on further road improvements. A survey was included in the newsletter to gather resident input on desired association activities and projects. Membership currently stands at 166 with a call to bring in new resident families to participate and support future initiatives.
The Sandia Peak Tram Company discussed the responsibility of road maintenance in Sandia Heights and ongoing repairs to address recent storm damages. Residents were encouraged to report road issues to the County, clear culverts, and handle individual driveway drainage problems. Security patrol updates highlighted the positive impact of the guard service on area security, detailing various assistance provided and encouraging continued community support and feedback. Several classified ads were included in the newsletter for various services and items for sale.
