Sandia Heights Homeowners Association expresses gratitude to residents for their support in opposing the granting of a liquor license on Tramway Lane to County Line of Albuquerque. The license and establishment location were denied by Mr. Ti to Chavez, the County Hearing Officer, after a formal hearing attended by 130 residents despite a snowstorm. The residents presented facts and figures demonstrating the detrimental impact of the bar/restaurant on the safety and health of nearby residents, with legal representation by Mr. NicCullough. Residents are reminded of their voting membership in the Association and encouraged to attend the meeting on February 26, 1983, emphasizing the positive impact of an active neighborhood association on the environment.
